The SAGA of your organization extends into a larger community context; Civic Engagement projects combine organization values and goals in a commitment to improve our communities. We will work with you to identify a community service project that relates to the goals of your organization. Using innovative curriculum design, we will engage your group in a process to provide meaningful service while they get to know each other – a benefit for your organization and the community. Depending on your needs and outcomes we can provide a variety of approaches to learning and service. Just like our custom retreats, we will customize the civic engagement project to your group.


Public Speaking

Interactive Keynotes, A Bold Approach

We believe that even 500 people can interact during a keynote speech in such a way that the storyteller creates a lasting impact on the participants. We engage our audiences with more than a run of the mill speech, but rather a story that they actually take part in.

Drawing on their rich experiences in higher education, outdoor adventure, the Idaho legislature, women’s leadership organizations, and teaching, Mat and Melissa provide keynote speeches and public addresses for your organization on a variety of topics: social change leadership, relational leadership, emotional intelligence, effective communication, personality in the workplace, women’s leadership, innovation and creativity, collaboration, organizational development, social justice, and community engagement.

The best thing for a group may be to get “off site” where the daily distractions of work won’t get in the way of making meaningful connections that will benefit everyone back on the job. Retreats allow time to learn, connect, network and develop leadership skills that ultimately help the organization.

SAGA specializes in designing custom built retreats, workshops, trainings, and seminars that utilize innovative educational techniques to meet the desired outcomes of our clients.

Specialized learning activities provide hands on scenarios that mirror contemporary organizational challenges. Each custom program reflects a carefully integrated mix of active learning challenges designed to foster clear communication, strategic thinking and effective decision-making.

SAGA constructs ½ day, full day, and multi-day retreats. Depending upon the needs of your organization, we can organize everything from curriculum design to logistics such as locations, food and lodging. We will meet with you to assess the needs of your organization so we can build a custom the experience from the fine details of unique “give-aways” with your logo to the working outcomes of the retreat.

We believe that what you achieve in a retreat or workshop should carry on beyond the day’s activity. We value collaboration and will offer coaching after the event to ensure your organization stays on track with what you hoped to accomplish.
